We’ve made healthcare more affordable — Meet your new bulk billing doctors

We’ve made healthcare more affordable — Meet your new bulk billing doctors Main Image

In case you missed the good news last week....Canberra now has 11 fully bulk billing GP practices, doubling the number of bulk billing general practices we had here before the federal election.

When we promised to make healthcare more affordable, we meant it - and now we’re delivering.

The Albanese Labor Government’s historic bulk billing reforms have now come into effect, expanding support so more GPs can offer services with no out‑of‑pocket cost for Medicare‑eligible patients.

And what's most exciting about this announcement is that it is just the beginning. We will continue to make sure Canberrans get the benefit of the single largest investment Labor has made in strengthening Medicare.

We are committed to delivering real benefits for local families, and making it easier for Canberrans to have more choice when accessing healthcare.

If you have friends or family near these new clinics, share this email and help spread the word that more bulk billing GPs are now within reach.
